Doctoral Students Win Paper Competition

The School of Criminal Justice would like to congratulate 3rd year PhD Students Daniel Abad and Matthew Almanza for winning the 2018 Midwestern Criminal Justice Association (MCJA) Student Paper Competition for their paper titled “A Modified Approach to In-School Victimization, Authoritative School Climate, and Student Feelings of Safety.” Daniel and Matthew accepted the award at the annual meeting of the MCJA in Chicago, IL on September 28, 2018, where they also presented their paper as part of the conference proceedings.
