This webinar addresses the critical staffing challenges faced by police agencies across the U.S., focusing on diversity and specialized skill sets. Led by researchers from Michigan State University's Police Staffing Observatory, it presents findings from three comprehensive studies: a six-year media analysis of staffing trends, a practitioner evaluation of 237 recruitment tactics, and an assessment of organizational components for effective recruitment. Attendees will gain field-tested, multidimensional strategies to develop sustainable, inclusive recruitment programs and tackle the complexities of modern police staffing.
