The Office of Community Oriented Policing (COPS) announced during their August 2011 conference, "Community Policing: Advancing Public Safety", that Dr. Jeremy Wilson will be receiving a grant for his project on public safety consolidation. He will be examining the nature and effects of merging police and fire departments.

U.S. Air Force Crime Prevention/Resource Protection Course
Fifty U.S. Air Force Security Forces enlisted and civilian crime prevention/resource protection program managers from around the world spent two weeks this past September earning academic credit while studying theory, practice and management of crime prevention/resource protection. Security Forces members perform the military police function within the U.S. Air Force. The next class of program managers will arrive on campus in March 2012. Click here to learn more.
